So my lotto luck is never great (of course not helped by the fact that I don’t buy lotto tickets), however I was lucky enough recently to win a Six Week Clean Eating Plan and Clean Treats Mini Recipe book from the bloody gorgeous girls Loz and Greer from Nude Foodies.
Naturally the first thing I did was hunt out the chocolate section (snoooorrrrt) and whip up these lush little Choc Mint Bliss Balls. I’m a big fan of a good cacao mint combo and these tasty wee buggers didn’t disappoint; they’re loaded with good shit and super easy to whack together for a cheeky little afternoon hanger killer or after dinner mint treat. They also survived the ultimate test of being hauled around in my gym bag all morning without turning to smush so it’s a big thumbs up from me.
Those fab laydeez have even been good enough to let me share the recipe so you can get some tasty balls in your gob for your own oral pleasure. Have fun with that x
Get this stuff
1 cup raw almonds
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbs chia seeds
3 Tbs coconut oil, melted
3 Tbs rice malt syrup
2 Tbs cacao powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup whey protein (optional)
12 drops of peppermint oil
Do this with it
Place almonds in food processor or high speed blender and blitz until a medium texture. Add other ingredients, except water, and blitz until all comes together. Add water until desired consistency.
Roll into 12 balls and roll in desiccated coconut or keep nude
